I have now been officially diagnosed with depression, as a broad umbrella term anyway, hopefully they'll narrow it down soon. So, I don't know what sort of effect the medication will have on my ability/motivation to write, but fingers crossed everything will be ok soon and I'll be able to write without feeling like all I'm pouring out is hopelessness and despair.
